TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Hackensack, New Jersey, 07601 Pay Information $2,450 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Emergency Department (ED) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 x 12hr shifts, Every Other Weekend Required, 3 out of 6 Holiday Requirement Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 per week Experience: Minimum 18 months of Nursing experience working in an Emergency Department environment, including experience within the past six months License: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license Certifications: BLS-AHA, ACLS, Telemetry, PALS, NIHSS, CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours Must-Have: - Demonstrated level of performance and practice - Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services - Effective communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel Job Description: - Emergency Department RNs must be ready to care for patients when they need help the most. - Provide specialized and innovative services and be equipped to handle various emergency situations for patients of all ages. - Be trained to deal with a variety of trauma situations requiring quick and decisive actions. - Quickly and accurately assess incoming patients with physical and mental health conditions. - Prioritize patients' injuries and medical needs accordingly. This position is for a busy unit with a 1:6 ratio. There is no on-call requirement for this role.
