Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer._---Our client is a leading behavioral health center dedicated to providing compassionate, long-term care to individuals with behavioral and mental health needs. Their team is committed to creating a supportive environment, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care. We are seeking an experienced RN to oversee the nursing staff and ensure exceptional care delivery in their facility.The Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department within the behavioral health facility. The Nurse Manager will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure that each patients physical and mental health needs are met in a safe and supportive environment.*Key Responsibilities:** Lead, supervise, and manage the nursing team, including RNs, LPNs, and nursing assistants, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care for residents with behavioral health needs.* Develop, implement, and evaluate individual care plans for residents, ensuring that both physical and behavioral health needs are appropriately addressed.* Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures, related to nursing and patient care.* Monitor and assess the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including social workers, therapists, physicians, and behavioral health specialists, to provide holistic care to residents.* Provide leadership in the development and implementation of behavioral health protocols, including de-escalation techniques, medication management, and crisis intervention.* Manage staffing schedules, ensuring appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios, and addressing any staffing issues or shortages.* Participate in recruitment, training, and professional development of nursing staff to enhance competencies in behavioral health care.* Ensure the safe and appropriate administration of medications and treatments, and oversee nursing documentation and resident records.* Participate in resident and family meetings to provide updates on care plans, progress, and concerns.* Promote a positive, supportive work environment and foster a culture of teamwork, respect, and patient-centered care.* Respond to emergency situations and provide leadership in the event of a crisis or critical incident.*Requirements:** Current RN licensure in New Jersey.* Minimum of 3 years of experience as an RN, with at least 1 year in a long-term care or behavioral health setting.* Previous leadership or management experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in long-term care or behavioral health.* In-depth knowledge of nursing practices, state and federal regulations, and behavioral health care standards.* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.* Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment._---__Atlas Search is a tri-state area recruitment agency, connecting new graduates, Advanced Practice Providers, Physicians and Nurse Leaders to hospitals, clinics, multi-specialty groups, nursing homes, managed care companies, private practices, and healthcare start-ups.__If you would like to learn more about the opportunities we offer, please submit your CV for consideration here.__#IndeedHC_Job Type: Full-timePay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per yearSchedule:* Day shiftApplication Question(s):* What is the best phone number and email address to contact you?Experience:* Long term care: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:* RN license in New Jersey (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble
