Job Description:

SLAIT Consulting is currently seeking a Cloud Architect for a contract opportunity in South Brunswick, NJ. Qualified Architects should have have been previously involved in significant migrations of a minimum of 500 Servers to Amazon (AWS) and have good knowledge of Azure. This is a hand-on Architect role which will also responsible for designing the cloud environment, creating the road maps and migration strategy, providing guidance to the client managers and more Jr. staff, and assisting with the implementation. To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the minimum requirements below.

1. Certified Architect on AWS / Azure

2. Extensive experience in Virtualization and Data Center technologies

3. Experience in cloud application architecture

4. Experience in migration of applications from Physical to Virtual environments

5. Experience in Migrating Applications to AWS /Azure

6. Knowledge of Cloud Delivery models

7. Knowledge of Cloud Orchestration / automation

8. Knowledge of Scripting / OS Administration / OS Deployment / AD / DNS/ Networks and Security.

9. Great communication and presentation skills

10. Ability to work on-site for the duration of the project
