Mandatory
Utilities exp - minimum of 3 years
1 year of supporting meter management applications. See
applications below.
Minimum 5 years of designing, implementing, and maintaining
application infrastructure
Exp in meter management, AMI metering, mobile workforce management,
or enterprise asset management systems
Exp developing and delivering user training
Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and
reporting.
Assist in project planning and execution for new application
implementations or major upgrades.
Proficiency in at least 2 operation systems such as:
Meter Management (i.e.Sensus, Neptune, Itron)
AMI metering technology (i.e. Sensus AMI)
Mobile Workforce Management (i.e. IFS MWM)
Enterprise Asset Management (i.e. HxGN, Kloudgin, or Cityworks)
SQL and database management skills (Oracle and/or MS SQL Server
preferred)
Proficiency with Java Programming & API integration
Knowledge of IT security best practices
Understanding of regulatory compliance in utilities
Ability to translate business requirements into technical
solutions
Experience with agile methodologies
Preferred
AWS Professional Certifications preferred
5+ years of experience in utility operations and related
applications
Required:
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information
Technology, or related field and equivalent experience.
Minimum 6 years of designing, implementing, and maintaining the
infrastructure services or similar role.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced
environment
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a
team
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
AWS Professional Certifications preferred
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
5+ years of experience in utility operations and related
applications
Strong background in meter management, AMI metering, mobile
workforce management, or enterprise asset management systems
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with
both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Passion for environmental sustainability and desire to make a
positive impact
Good understanding of utility operations and processes

Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain the assigned operations applications
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users
Manage application upgrades, patches, and new feature
implementations.
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with
regulations
Develop and deliver user training programs / Maintain user
documentation
Develop and maintain custom applications and scripts using Java to
support utility operations.
Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and
reporting.
Familiar with API functions and usages
Develop and maintain documentation for application processes,
configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
Conduct user training and provide ongoing support to ensure optimal
use of applications.
Perform system health checks and proactively identify areas for
improvement.
Assist in project planning and execution for new application
implementations or major upgrades.
Ensure application compliance with industry standards and
regulations.
Participate in on-call rotation for critical system support.
