we're ready for you.The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) Peer to Peer
Specialist supports the fundraising teams in generating revenue for
WWP programs and services by working with supporters, community
members, volunteers, and vendors to ensure successful fundraising
events. This role directly leads designated event channels and/or
projects on behalf of WWP by collaborating with stakeholders and
providing advice and resources to ensure these events succeed and
contribute to WWP's revenue goals.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direct support to external fundraising hosts and/or
event participants to drive team revenue growth and event
success.
- Serve as initial point of contact for the Peer-to-Peer
fundraising team, handling all email and phone communication with
external supporters.
- Create and prepare internal and external communications,
including fundraising materials and donor correspondence.
- Foster strong working relationships and collaborate with WWP
teams across the organization (e.g., Communications, Marketing,
Programs, Legal, Procurement, and other Resource Development
teams), working across channels to engage and expand support for
current events.
- Evaluate event performance, analyze results/trends/successes,
and access potential for future initiatives cross various event
types and markets.
- Create and maintain tracking systems to ensure ongoing
communication with community fundraisers, event participants, and
sponsors.
- Conduct quarterly research to identify new potential supporters
and monitor lapsed events.
- Provide monthly fundraising forecasts, identifying
opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiencies to save
donor dollars.
- Manage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data, tracking
host and donor interactions and maintaining accurate records of
activity.
- Collaborate with leadership and teammates to develop strategies
to maximize fundraising in key segments, such as golf tournaments,
athletic events, youth events, or with Carry Forward 5k.
- Work with the fundraising team to evaluate event performance
and assess potential for future initiatives across various event
types and markets.
- Travel to specific events as needed, providing on-site support
as appropriate.
- Attend and actively participate in required training and/or
meetings, including but not limited to New Teammate Orientation,
WWP Cares, ASIST Suicide Prevention training, Leadership training,
culture/team based training, or departmental huddles.

- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact
effectively with diverse individuals and build effective working
relationships.
- Experience in stewarding event funding through peer-to-peer
fundraising events.
- Working knowledge of proprietary fundraising software and CRM
databases.
- Business acumen, with the ability to monitor, compile, and
analyze data to guide decision-making.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with a proven
ability to adapt to shifting priorities, manage multiple tasks, and
meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to establish credibility, be decisive, influence
others, and drive change.
- Understanding of Wounded Warrior Project's mission, values,
programs, and services, and the impact of these programs and
services on wounded warriors and their families.
- Proven customer service skills, with the ability to build
rapport through phone and email communication.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and manage events of varying
complexity from conception to execution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook,
PowerPoint.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with external
supporters.
- Knowledge of e-fundraising strategies, including email
campaigns and online event management.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the
ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced
environment.
- High energy level. Self-starter; willing to take
initiative.

with.EXPERIENCERequirements
- Three years of customer service experience in a business or
non-profit organization.
- Two years of experience in event-based fundraising or community
engagement. Preferences
- Two years of experience in fundraising, development, or donor
relations within a non-profit organization.
- One year of experience supporting fundraising initiatives or
special projects from planning through execution.
- One year of experience managing data and reporting using CRM
systems to analyze metrics, track engagement, inform
strategy.EDUCATIONRequirements
- Bachelor's degree. Equivalent combination of applicable
education, training, certification, and experience may be
considered in lieu of degree.Preferences
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, event management,

position is between $52,684 - $65,856 annual base salary,subject to
a candidate's combination of experience, qualifications, and
credentials. This position may also be eligible for an annual

Washington Applicants: The estimated hiring range for this position
is between $57,702 - $72,128 annual base salary,subject to a
candidate's combination of experience, qualifications, and
credentials. This position may also be eligible for an annual
performance incentive.For Washington, D.C. Applicants: The
estimated hiring range for this position is between $60,2011 -
$75,264 annual base salary,subject to a candidate's combination of
experience, qualifications, and credentials. This position may also

$62,720 - $78,400 annual base salary,subject to a candidate's
